Guías Boira offer to visitors different kind of adventure activities as canyoning, via ferrata, hiking or abseiling in Sierra de Guara. We want to introduce you to this pretty region of the Pyrenees doing exciting sports. Which are the differences between canyoning and via ferrata?
Canyoning is to go down a river walking or swimming overcoming the natural obstacles that we will find in our way. Those obstacles can be siphons, rappels, jumps, slides, destrepes and so on. In Guías Boira we try to adapt the canyon to people to get the appropriate dose of adrenaline, always within margins of safety.
WHERE IS IT REALIZED CANYONING IN SPAIN?
Guias Boira is in the Spanish Pyrenees, exactly in Sierra de Guara – Alquézar. This mountain range is located in the north of Spain, in the Somontano – Barbastro region. We are in the heart of Aragon, at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the Huesca province. In this area there are more than a hundred canyons; because of their quality, beauty and fame, these formations and this place are known as “The canyoning´s paradise”. In Sierra de Guara you will enjoy the sunny Mediterranean climate to do a lot of outdoor activities and visit many villages.
